Adromischus Rupicola is a charming small succulent with thick, often spotted leaves in shades of green and red. Originating from the rocky landscapes of South Africa, it brings a touch of wild nature indoors. It's ideal for busy growers – it can even tolerate being forgotten for longer periods.
Watering Water only when the substrate is completely dry – succulents do not tolerate overwatering. In winter, water minimally, once every 4–6 weeks. Caution: Excess water in the saucer can cause root rot.
Light Requires bright direct or indirect light.
The ideal location is on a south- or west-facing windowsill.
In insufficient light, the plant loses its compact shape and stretches.
Temperature and Air
Ideal temperature: 18–26 °C (64–79 °F).
Cold: Does not tolerate temperatures below 5 °C (41 °F).
Humidity: Prefers dry air – high humidity is not suitable for it.
Fertilizing During the growing season (spring–summer), fertilize once every 4–6 weeks with a fertilizer for cacti and succulents. Omit fertilization completely in winter.
Substrate and Repotting Use a well-draining substrate for cacti and succulents with added perlite or sand. Repot only when necessary; succulents prefer tighter pots.
Warning Adromischus Rupicola may be mildly toxic if ingested. Keep out of reach of children and pets.
