Aglaonema Apple Green is a charming houseplant with glossy leaves in a vibrant apple green color. It is one of the most resilient houseplants and is ideal for beginners. Aglaonema purifies the air and brings freshness and vitality to interiors.
Watering Keep the substrate slightly moist – water when the top layer (approx. 2–3 cm) is dry. It does not tolerate overwatering. Note: Use standing water at room temperature – chlorine and fluoride from tap water can cause brown leaf tips.
Light It tolerates a wide range of light conditions – from low to medium indirect light.
Avoid direct sunlight, which can scorch the leaves.
It is also ideal for rooms with less natural light.
Temperature and Air
Ideal temperature: 18–26 °C.
Cold: It does not tolerate temperatures below 15 °C and drafts.
Humidity: It appreciates higher air humidity. During the heating season, we recommend a humidifier.
Fertilizing During the growing season (spring–summer), fertilize once a month with liquid houseplant fertilizer at half strength. Omit fertilization entirely in winter.
Substrate and Repotting It requires a light, well-draining substrate. Repot in spring when the roots fill the pot, always only one size larger.
Warning Aglaonema is toxic to pets and children if ingested. Keep out of their reach.
