Aglaonema Citronelle captivates with its glossy leaves in vibrant lemon-yellow to lime-green hues. Its bright coloring will brighten up any interior, bringing energy and freshness. It is one of the most resilient houseplants.
Watering Keep the substrate slightly moist – water when the top layer (approx. 2–3 cm) is dry. It does not tolerate overwatering. Note: Use standing water at room temperature.
Light Prefers bright indirect light to maintain the intensity of its yellow coloration.
Avoid direct sunlight, which can burn the leaves.
In partial shade, the coloration will green.
Temperature and Air
Ideal temperature: 18–26 °C.
Cold: Does not tolerate temperatures below 15 °C or drafts.
Humidity: Appreciates higher air humidity. During the heating season, we recommend a humidifier.
Fertilizing During the growing season (spring–summer), fertilize once a month with liquid houseplant fertilizer at half strength. Completely omit fertilizing in winter.
Substrate and Repotting Requires a light, well-draining substrate. Repot in spring when the roots fill the pot.
Warning Aglaonema is toxic if ingested. Keep out of reach of children and pets.
