Aglaonema Crete is an ornamental houseplant with distinctive, dark green leaves featuring pink veins and edges. It tolerates less favorable conditions and is ideal for interiors with indirect light.
Watering
Water moderately — allow the top layer of the substrate to dry out between waterings. Water more frequently in spring and summer, and less in winter. Aglaonema does not tolerate waterlogged roots.
Light
It tolerates partial shade and indirect light. Avoid direct sunlight, which can cause leaf burn. Also suitable for more distant parts of a room.
Temperature and Air
The optimal temperature is 18–26 °C. Protect it from cold drafts and temperatures below 15 °C. It tolerates normal indoor conditions.
Fertilization
Fertilize once every 4 weeks during the growing season with liquid fertilizer for houseplants. Do not fertilize in winter.
Substrate
Use a well-draining, light substrate for houseplants. Good drainage is important to prevent water from stagnating at the roots.
Warning
Toxic to humans and pets — place out of reach of children and animals.
