Aglaonema ‘Jungle Lava’ is a low-maintenance plant that thrives in a kokedama. It only needs moderate watering, diffused light, and occasional misting. Thanks to its strong root structure, it tolerates the kokedama well and maintains its decorative appearance for a long time.

💧 Watering

• Submerge the kokedama in a container of water for 5–10 minutes, until no more bubbles escape.
• After removing, let it drain thoroughly to prevent excess water from lingering inside.
• Repeat approximately once every 7–10 days, or more frequently in the summer as needed.
• Never leave the kokedama in standing water.

☀️ Light

• It thrives best in diffused light or partial shade.
• It can tolerate a shadier spot, but the red tones will be less vibrant.
• Direct sun can cause leaf burn.

🌡️ Temperature and Air

• The ideal temperature is 20–28 °C.
• It does not tolerate cold below 16 °C.
• It prefers higher humidity but also tolerates typical household environments well.
• Occasional misting will promote a fresh appearance and rich colors.

🌿 Fertilizing

• From spring to autumn, add weak fertilizer to the water once every 4 weeks.
• Reduce fertilizing in winter.

• Place it on a saucer, a woven stand, or hang it with strings.
