Aglaonema Red Joy Care Guide

Aglaonema Red Joy is a cheerful variety with leaves in vibrant red and pink with dark green edges. Its striking coloration brings joy and energy to any interior. It is one of the most resilient houseplants and is ideal even for beginners.

💧 Watering Keep the substrate moderately moist – water when the top layer (approx. 2–3 cm) is dry. It does not tolerate overwatering. Note: Use standing water at room temperature.

☀️ Light Prefers bright indirect light to maintain the intensity of its red coloration.

• Avoid direct sunlight.

• In partial shade, the coloration will fade.

🌡️ Temperature and Air

• Ideal temperature: 18–26 °C (64–79 °F).

• Cold: Does not tolerate temperatures below 15 °C (59 °F) and drafts.

• Humidity: Appreciates higher air humidity. We recommend a humidifier during the heating season.

🌿 Fertilizing During the growing season (spring–summer), fertilize once a month with liquid fertilizer at half concentration. Completely omit fertilizing in winter.

🧻 Substrate and Repotting Requires a light, well-draining substrate. Repot in spring when the roots fill the pot.
