Size and what you will receive

• Growing pot diameter: 8 cm.
• Approximate height according to the supplier: 12 cm.
• The supplier lists 1 shoot; this does not indicate the number of leaves.
• The price is for one plant in a growing pot.

Standard delivery takes 5–8 calendar days, depending on current availability from the supplier.

Watering

Water when the surface of the substrate has dried out. Check moisture more often in a small pot; do not let the root ball dry out completely or sit in water.

Light

Bright, indirect light away from harsh midday sun. Protect the light-colored parts of the leaves from sunburn.

Temperature and humidity

A warm environment of approximately 18–28 °C and higher humidity. Protect from cold, drafts, and heating; keep the temperature above 16 °C.

Fertilizing

During active growth, feed with a diluted dose of houseplant fertilizer according to the instructions. Stop fertilizing when growth stalls.

Substrate and repotting

Use an airy, well-draining substrate with perlite or fine bark, and a pot with drainage holes. Repot only when the roots have filled the pot, preferably in spring, into a container only slightly larger.

Practical tips

After delivery, give the small plant time to acclimatize. It is more sensitive to overwatering and cold, and is best suited to growers with experience caring for Alocasias.

Safety

Not for consumption. Toxic if swallowed; the sap may cause irritation. Keep out of reach of children and pets.
