Anthurium Andreanum Livium Red Care

Anthurium Andreanum Livium Red is one of the most elegant houseplants. Its deep red, glossy flowers and dark green leaves bring a touch of tropical luxury to any interior.

💧 Watering

When to water: Water regularly as soon as the top layer of substrate (approx. 2–3 cm) dries out. Anthurium does not tolerate overwatering or complete drying out.

Water: Use soft, standing water at room temperature.

☀️ Light

Placement: It needs bright, indirect light. Direct sun can scorch the leaves.

Lack of light: Will reduce flowering and slow growth.

🌡️ Temperature and air

Ideal temperature: 18–25 °C. Sensitive to cold – must not be exposed to temperatures below 15 °C.

Humidity: Loves high air humidity. Mist the leaves regularly or use a humidifier.

🌿 Fertilizing and growth

Fertilizing: From spring to autumn, fertilize every 2 weeks with liquid fertilizer for flowering plants. Do not fertilize in winter.
