Epipremnum pinnatum Marble Variegata is an exceptional variegated form of the popular houseplant, featuring beautiful leaves in a combination of green and creamy white. Each leaf is unique – the marble patterns make it a true jewel in any interior. It is ideal for plant collectors and lovers of exceptional species.
Watering Water sparingly – only when the top layer of substrate (approx. 2–3 cm) is dry. Epipremnum does not tolerate overwatering. Caution: Water must not stand in the saucer under the pot. Use room temperature, standing water.
Light Requires bright indirect light to maintain variegation – ideal placement is near an east or west-facing window.
Avoid direct midday sun, which can scorch the leaves.
In insufficient light, the white parts of the leaves fade and variegation is lost.
Temperature and Air
Ideal temperature: 18–25 °C.
Cold: Does not tolerate temperatures below 12 °C and drafts.
Humidity: Tolerates normal room humidity. During the heating season, occasional misting of leaves is recommended.
Fertilizing During the growing season (spring–autumn), fertilize every 2–4 weeks with liquid houseplant fertilizer at half strength. Omit fertilization entirely in winter.
Substrate and Repotting Requires a well-draining, airy substrate – an aroid mix with perlite or bark is ideal. Repot in spring, always into a pot only one size larger.
Warning Epipremnum pinnatum is toxic to pets and children. Keep out of their reach.
