Schefflera Charlotte Care

Schefflera Charlotte is an impressive houseplant with elegant, woody stems and rich, glossy foliage. Ideal as a dominant interior feature – it brings a tropical touch and a lively atmosphere to any room.

💧 Watering Water moderately – only when the top layer of substrate (approx. 2–3 cm) is dry. Schefflera does not tolerate overwatering. Warning: Water must not stand in the saucer under the pot. Use room temperature, standing water.

☀️ Light Prefers bright, indirect light – ideal placement is near an east or west-facing window.

• Avoid direct midday sun, which can scorch the leaves.

• Lack of light causes leaves to yellow and drop.

🌡️ Temperature and Air

• Ideal temperature: 18–25 °C.

• Cold: Does not tolerate temperatures below 12 °C or drafts.

• Humidity: Tolerates average room humidity. During the heating season, occasional misting of the leaves is recommended.

🌿 Fertilization During the growing season (spring–autumn), fertilize every 2–4 weeks with liquid fertilizer for houseplants at half concentration. Completely omit fertilization in winter.

🧽 Substrate and Repotting Requires a well-draining, airy substrate for houseplants with perlite. Repot in spring, always into a pot only one size larger.
